PSi's International Committee is convening its first roundtable intended to propel discussions on the inter-national as well as intra-cultural dynamics of Performance Studies (international).
This discussion is taking as its starting point the recently published volume “Contesting Performance - Global Sites of Research”, edited by Jon McKenzie, Heike Roms and C. J. W.-L. Wee (Palgrave Macmillan 2009)
The editors of the book are joined by researchers representing locations of and approaches to performance research that have largely developed outside of the Performance Studies (international) frame- and network.

With pleasure we present to you the preliminary programme for PSi #17. This first programme update mainly consists of the schedule of the Panel programme. The second programme update that will include the Shift programme will be available mid-March. We postponed the publication of the preliminary programme of the Shifts to mid-March due to the challenging process of finding the right matches between venues and Shift requirements. Thank you for supporting us in this process by responding to our questions about your proposals as soon as possible.

All of the lodging recommendations that you can find via our website are subject to availability. We have put aside a limited number of rooms at discounted rates for conference participants.
